In December 2019, the Enterprise Project, in coordination with Wexner Medical Center, Advancement, and other key data intensive units, purchased Collibra. The Collibra application helps to support Ohio State's understanding of data assets and rules via capabilities within data cataloging and data governance.
Collibra will act as a business glossary, data catalog and data dictionary, replacing earlier data cataloging tools Data Cookbook and Wexner Medical Center’s IBM InfoSphere Information Governance Catalog.

Sinead Yarberry, Instructor of Clinical Practice in The College of Nursing, started using ExamSoft last semester to replace bubble sheets and paper tests. Yarberry taught Nursing 6271, which had between 80-90 students. Over the course of the semester, five quizzes, one midterm and one final exam were administered through ExamSoft.
At the end of the Spring ’20 semester, a new and improved RCE will replace the current version in CarmenCanvas—but it’s also available now for you to explore. We encourage you to test out the new RCE in your courses by opting in on the Course Settings page.

Students at Ohio State Marion recently helped local non-profits get funding as part of the Pay It Forward initiative. One tool they used to achieve this was video, created on Digital Flagship iPads using the Adobe Spark Video app.
Ohio State’s Tableau User Group (TUG) will hold its 4th Annual Iron Viz competition from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, 2/20 at 150 Thompson Library. Participants are given 20 minutes to design an engaging workbook from a common dataset.
