You can help Ohio State improve Digital Accessibility
Ohio State is working to create an environment where everyone can use content on Ohio State’s websites, web applications and digital offerings. This work aligns with Ohio State’s Digital Accessibility Policy.
We now have Digital Accessibility Coordinators in most university business units and colleges and many are beginning to assign Digital Accessibility training. If you’ve been assigned Digital Accessibility Policy training in BuckeyeLearn, please complete it by December 31.
Accessibility is absolutely crucial at universities like Ohio State. Imagine taking a class and being unable to read the textbook. Think about how hard your job would be if you could no longer use your computer’s mouse. Training will provide you with a better understanding of what accessibility entails so all employees can consider the perspective of every type of end user.
If you need more information about training, and what may be required for your role, contact a Digital Accessibility Coordinator in your college/department/unit. If you have specific questions about the Digital Accessibility Policy, contact us at das@osu.edu.
