Free BTAA Women in IT Conference, Feb. 8
"Lead from where you are" is the first virtual conference sponsored by the Big Ten Academic Alliance (BTAA) Women in IT (WIT) peer group. The conference on Friday (2/8) 1:30-4:30 p.m. will include two keynote speakers, in addition to a panel of three women at different stages of IT careers.
Maureen Biggers, Director of Indiana University's Center of Excellence for Women in Technology will serve as one of the keynotes, discussing inclusive work practices and unconscious bias. Ana Hunsinger, Vice President Community Engagement, at Internet2 is the second keynote. She will discuss championing women in IT. The Career panel speakers include: Diane Dagefoerde (Ohio State), Kaylah Norris (Rutgers) and Laura Favour (University of Minnesota).
The virtual conference is free, but OCIO/ ODEE/ EP employees are welcome to participate in person at the Mount Hall watch party in 030A/ 030B.
