The project to improve Wi-Fi at Ohio State and move to eduroam and device-based authentication began in May 2022. Since that time, Ohio State Wi-Fi users have been making the transition to eduroam and reaping the benefits. Once on eduroam, faculty, staff, and students no longer have to update their password to maintain their wireless connection. Going to wireless.osu.edu and selecting “Connect to eduroam” sets up your device to maintain connection to eduroam for five years. The eduroam network is also available in more than 100 countries, allowing you to maintain a secure connection at institutions around the world.

If you have any questions about connecting to eduroam, contact the IT Service Desk at 614-688-4357. If you have a university-managed device that is still connecting to osuwireless, you may need to contact your local IT department for assistance.

*The Wexner Medical Center will be removing osuwireless from their locations throughout the summer.
