Ohio State Data Privacy Days Event on January 27

The Privacy Program engages the university community in thoughtful conversations about student privacy.  Join our next event is from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 27, and will focus on learning and practicing the new Ohio State Student Analytics Principles.

A spree of external privacy gaffs has created a community who really cares about their privacy.  Colleges and organizations across the university want use students’ personal information for good reasons: support student success, improve personalization, and engage with students.

However, we must be transparent and thoughtful to maintain the trust of our community.  ​At Ohio State, we:​

  • Say what we do and do what we say​
  • Follow thoughtful decision making for student analytics

As Ohio State continues along this journey, Data Privacy Days are forums to spark conversations across our university community about privacy, digital footprints and privacy personas. 

Join us on Thursday, January 27 on Zoom. The event takes place from noon to 1:30 p.m.  We will be exploring the new Ohio State Student Analytics Principles.
