Advisory Groups

Instructor, student and staff voices are essential to driving the strategic direction of technology use at Ohio State. Our advisory groups provide input and guidance to ensure that the technology being implemented across the university enhances teaching and learning, enables research and delivers data for effective decision-making.

Classroom Readiness Committee

The Classroom Readiness Committee is charged with stewardship of all general use classrooms on the Columbus campus, with a focus to maintain environments that connect technology and space design to evidence-based teaching practices.


Council on Distance Education, Libraries, and Information Technology (DELIT)

The Council on Distance Education, Libraries, and Information Technology (DELIT) is charged with understanding and overseeing Ohio State's digital resources for education, communication and information storage and exchange.


Distance Education Steering Committee

The Distance Education Steering Committee helps inform the Office of Technology and Digital Innovation's strategic direction for program and course development; pedagogical aspects of delivery and ensures that distance education is delivered with appropriate rigor and within Ohio State standards.


IT Partnership Council

The IT Partnership Council is comprised of senior leaders from distributed IT departments across the university who meet to discuss technology developments and solve problems within and outside of the university.


Research Cyberinfrastructure and Advanced Computing Advisory Council

The Research Cyberinfrastructure and Advanced Computing Advisory Council identifies gaps in key research support services and prioritizes investments that will strengthen Ohio State’s competitive position as a leading national flagship public research university.


Security and Trust Advisory Board

The Security and Trust Advisory Board works to ensure effective oversight of university information and technology risk management and compliance practices.


Workday Support and Governance Advisory Group

The Workday Support and Governance Advisory Group membership includes leadership from the HR, Business and Finance, Purchasing and Supply Chain, ERIK, and OTDI areas. This group convenes to review and discuss changes and updates with the Workday system and what change management strategies will be needed help the university adopt them successfully.
