Each Relationship Manager works with a specific set of business units and colleges at Ohio State. We are committed to understanding the needs of each area and building relationships with the people who keep the university moving forward. We support all units at the university, including our Managed IT Services (MITS) partners.

Relationship Managers and MITS 

For units under Managed IT Services (MITS), IT Relationship Managers are indispensable. We are their local leader to organize IT service owners, troubleshoot escalations, understand the uniqueness of each unit and champion service improvement. Relationship Managers transform cost transparency into a strategic advantage by utilizing the MITS model to drive optimization through data-driven analysis and tailored strategies, enabling units to make informed decisions that drive efficiency. Our expertise extends beyond technology and business; we build relationships at every level, from Deans to frontline staff, to personalize central IT services promoting a culture of collaboration and trust.

Relationship Managers and Distributed IT

For Distributed IT partners, IT Relationship Managers serve as invaluable strategic resources, sharing best practices, facilitating collaboration, and bridging communication gaps. Relationship Managers advocate for OTDI services, ensuring distributed teams are aware and aligned with university-wide initiatives while also soliciting feedback to shape, refine and continuously improve those same OTDI services.

Jason Haskins

Jason Haskins

Jason Haskins is the Senior Director of Managed IT Services (MITS) and Relationship Management, a seasoned IT professional who oversees the long-term strategy and fiscal health of MITS. He is responsible for building and supporting the operational and chargeback model that underpins MITS, and he partners closely with MITS service owners to drive continuous service improvement.

Jason is a dedicated advocate for MITS Partners to drive change on their behalf within the broader Office of Technology and Digital Innovation (OTDI). He also leads the Relationship Management team, which is critical to the success of our MITS Partners. These Relationship Managers are key players who humanize MITS for our partners, practically embedding themselves within their respective units to understand unique needs, and effectively bringing to bear the necessary IT resources to solve partner problems.

William Mills

Will Mills is the Assistant Director of Relationship Management.  He is a critical member of the OTDI senior leadership team where he is responsible for helping drive organizational change and creating an environment where each member of OTDI can share their voice.
