BuckeyeBox Applications to be Removed from MITS Devices August 26

On Friday, August 26, 2022 BuckeyeBox related applications will be removed from all Managed IT Services (MITS) devices. Following the retirement of the BuckeyeBox service and the migration of all files to OneDrive in 2021, as well as account deactivation in May 2022, users no longer have access to BuckeyeBox. By extension, applications related to BuckeyeBox are no longer supported by the university and are therefore being removed from our managed devices.

Since Ohio State retired BuckeyeBox, we now offer OneDrive and Teams to faculty, staff and students as an easy way to share files and folders online. The Administrative Resource Center (ARC) includes helpful information about using OneDrive for Business and Microsoft Teams at Ohio State (log in required).  OneDrive for Business is the Microsoft-provided cloud storage and collaboration tool. For more information on file storage visit the MITS partners resource page at it.osu.edu/mits.

If you need additional help, the IT Service Desk offers 24-hour support, seven days a week.
