MacOS Monterey Now Available

 

The following applies to all Managed IT Services partners

The MacOS Monterey update is now available in Ohio State Application Self Service/JAMF for all OCIO-managed Mac devices. You can install this update at your convenience now through Tuesday, February 15, 2022. On February 15, you will be required to install the update if you have not already done so and will be notified via a pop-up window.

This installation requires a reboot that could take up to one hour. Installing the update prior to February 15 using Self Service allows you to plan around that reboot so that your work is not interrupted. View KB06124 for instructions on how to install the MacOS Monterey update via JAMF Self Service.

In addition to updating your device so you can access new features, we recommend keeping your MacOS updated for security purposes.
