Planned Maintenance and Downtime for Student Apps Oct. 13 - 15
From 5 p.m. on Friday, October 13, until 11 a.m. on Sunday, October 15, multiple PeopleSoft Buckeye Link services (Campus Solutions/Student Information System) will be unavailable due to planned maintenance. This change has a longer maintenance window that differs from previous SIS planned maintenance.
For most students and faculty users, the change should not be noticeable, however, there are also some additional business area impacts.
Listed under the “Business Area and Technical Staff Impacts” heading below, is information about some URL changes that will be of interest to that audience.
General Availability Impacts:
Services and functions unavailable during the downtime:
- Student Center functions accessed through Buckeye Link
- Faculty Center
- Grad Recommender (GARS)
The Ohio State App (mobile) will not be affected by the downtime.
Business Area and Technical Staff Impacts:
- Operational Data Store (ODS) – will not be updated until October 15.
- Any direct links to PeopleSoft Campus Solutions will need to be changed, as listed below and previously shared this summer in the October 2023 PeopleSoft Student System URL Changes post.
If you represent a business area managing other systems with direct links to PeopleSoft Campus Solutions as listed previously, and you have not been coordinating efforts with the OTDI Student Application Team, please contact Shane White (white.2658).
