  • Workday Release 2026R1 Coming March 14

    The first of Workday's two major releases in 2026 of enhancements and new functionality (Workday 2026R1) is scheduled to move to production on Saturday, March 14, from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. Workday will be unavailable during the maintenance period. There are relatively few changes for this release, and the focus is on user interface changes to the Home and Search pages including repositioning the global search bar on the Home page and updating how pinned categories are displayed on the Search page.   • Changes Coming Sept. 20 with Workday Release 2025R2

Workday will be unavailable from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. while the release is applied. See the full post for details about the upcoming changes, including a link to a job aid. The job aid will be updated regularly as new information becomes available, leading up to and through the release on September 20.

  • Visual Changes on Workday Project Summary

    Effective immediately, the following unused fields will be hidden on a project’s summary Workday page: Billable, Customer, Include Project ID in Names, Optional Balancing Worktags, Optional Project Hierarchies, and Project Currency.

    These fields will still appear on existing reports.
