Training Opportunities for LabArchives October 23-24

Representatives from LabArchives will be at Ohio State to provide several training opportunities on October 23 and 24.

Need a refresher on LabArchives? It’s a cloud-based Electronic Lab Notebook application that can be used to securely and efficiently record, manage and share data. The software makes it easy to structure your research data in the lab or in the field. Instructors can also take advantage of the Classroom Edition of LabArchives to set up a master notebook and student notebooks for lab information, class assignments and more.

If you’re new to LabArchives or looking for new strategies to organize your professional research, you don’t want to miss these training opportunities!

On Wednesday, October 23, workshops will be held at The James Cancer Hospital at 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. These events will cater to the medical researcher, but all who want to learn more about the Professional Edition of LabArchives are welcome!

On Thursday, October 24, more learning opportunities for the Professional Edition will take place in the Research Commons in the 18th Avenue Library. A formal workshop will be held at 10 a.m. and a brown bag discussion will be held from noon to 1 p.m.

Interested in using LabArchives in your lab classes? There’s an additional workshop focused on the Classroom Edition on October 24 at 1 p.m. in the Research Commons.

You can learn more and register for these opportunities in the ODEE Resource Center.
