Learn Accessibility from your Couch!
Ohio State is working to create an environment where everyone can use content on Ohio State’s websites, web applications and digital offerings. This work aligns with Ohio State’s Digital Accessibility Policy.
Accessibility is crucial at universities like Ohio State. Imagine taking a class and being unable to read the textbook. Think about how hard your job would be if you could no longer use your computer’s mouse. The Digital Accessibility Policy training course that many staff members take annually provides you with a better understanding of what accessibility entails so all employees can consider the perspective of every type of end user.
However, it is also important that you learn how to do your job in an accessible way so that all end users can view your content. If you’d like to get a jump on learning how to do that, here are some courses you can take now that provide a general overview of digital accessibility and also teach you how to make different types of content more accessible, including Word documents, PDFs, presentations, and websites.
