  • CarmenZoom: Enable Interpretation Options in Meetings and Webinars

    You will now see two new setting options when scheduling your meetings and webinars for CarmenZoom. There is now an Interpretation section where users can enable and assign interpreters. Note that these features do not provide automatic translation, but allow for more seamless integration of third-party interpreters into meetings and webinars.

  • Canvas: New AI-based tools for Instructors

    Instructors have access to 2 new AI-based tools in their Carmen courses. Once enabled as a feature option, the Discussion Summary option allows an instructor to request a summary of a particular discussion thread.   • Top Hat: Import Course Update

    Top Hat has added a streamlined process for creating a new course and copying existing content into it. On the instructor dashboard, you will see a "doubled page" icon to the right of a course title. Click the icon to bring up a menu allowing you to create a new course into which your existing content will be copied. Courses with a lot of content can take up to 60 minutes to fully import.   • PebblePad: Expanded Search by Tag Feature

    PebblePad has now expanded the ability for users to search for tags that have been added to Assets to include when adding Assets to workbooks and creating hyperlinks in pages. This change increases the usefulness of tags within PebblePad and creates more support and flexibility on how users utilize Assets.
