Carmen.osu.edu will soon have a new look and feel! Beginning on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 you can opt to use the new interface when you visit carmen.osu.edu to log in and view your courses. The updated site will become the default during the summer.
The new site features a more modern look, and updated branding and accessibility. The existing look has been in place since 2016, when Ohio State adopted Canvas as its learning management system (LMS).
The Office of Technology and Digital Innovation (OTDI) Learning Systems team has spent more than a year on the project, working with 25 faculty, staff and student users to design and test the upgraded site.
All the Carmen management and navigation tools available on the current carmen.osu.edu site will be available through the new interface. Users can submit feedback at carmen@osu.edu.
