After 10 years, carmen.osu.edu has a new look and feel.
On the afternoon of July 28, Ohio State students and instructors will start to see the redesigned CarmenCanvas landing page. The updated site was created to provide a better user experience with a modern design and improved accessibility.
This project is the result of more than a year of work by the Office of Technology and Digital Innovation (OTDI) Learning Systems team, which partnered with 25 faculty, staff and student users to design, test and refine the new experience. The redesign marks the first major update to the Carmen landing page since Ohio State adopted Canvas as its learning management system (LMS) in 2016.
Visitors can find everything they need in one place, including enterprise learning tool updates, links to system status and support resources and access to the Carmen login. Once logged in, users can choose how to view their list of courses and all the current course management and navigation tools already available. Instructors will continue to have access to Ohio State's custom-built tools for course management.
