New columns have been added to the "Payroll Funding – Costing Allocation for Filled Positions" report to provide greater transparency into how costing is calculated for each worker and costing line. Details about the columns are listed below. Help text has also been added to the report to explain how this calculation works for both hourly and salaried workers.
- Costing Allocation Distribution % x Position FTE - This column calculates the costing allocation percentage multiplied by the position’s FTE, providing a more accurate representation of the effective distribution for each costing line.
- The Base Pay x Distribution Percent - This column calculates the portion of base pay attributed to each costing allocation line based on the costing line’s percentage and the worker’s position FTE.
