Workday Release 2023R1 Coming March 11

The first of Workday's two major releases in 2023 of enhancements and new functionality is scheduled to move to production on Saturday, March 11, from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. Workday will be unavailable during the maintenance period.

A Workday 2023R1 job aid is available in the Administrative Resource Center (ARC) that explains the changes that will be noticeable, in more detail. The OTDI and central business area teams are continually evaluating the release to determine what additions and updates are needed to the job aid. As with the monthly and quarterly planned maintenance communicated throughout the year, Kronos and external dormakaba time clocks will be available during the maintenance, but employees using Workday to clock in and out should enter their hours once Workday is available again.

Supply Ordering

Order Friday, March 10 before 10 p.m. or after 5 a.m. on Saturday, March 11. 

Package Deliveries

Packages will be received and delivered after the maintenance is completed. Contact distribution at 614-293-7759 for packages which require immediate delivery during downtime.

610 Warehouse/Storeroom/Equipment Ordering

610 Ackerman Warehouse, Storeroom, and equipment orders are also placed via Workday. During Workday maintenance downtime, emergency orders can be faxed to the Storeroom at 614-293-6043 or called in to 614-293-7759.
