  • Mediasite: Updated Retention Policy

    In an effort to manage storage costs and more easily identify media content that must be made accessible per federal Title II regulations, OTDI will soon be enforcing an updated retention policy in Mediasite. Once implemented, content that has not been viewed in five years will be archived for one year before being permanently deleted.

  • Simple Syllabus Now Available

    Simple Syllabus, Ohio State’s new centralized platform for creating and publishing course syllabi, became available to faculty on April 23. The platform allows instructors to create syllabi using a university-wide‑ template and enables the university to meet the requirements of Senate Bill 1 (SB 1).

    Course shells for the Autumn 2026 semester are now available! Instructors can find their academic course shells on their Carmen landing page . The courses will also appear on the preview site for the new Carmen landing page .
