Health System Position Control Enhancements
Starting in July 2022, Workday will use position restrictions to identify Full Time Equivalency (FTE). This change in process will further assist leadership at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, to generate accurate Position Control reports for vacant positions without corresponding job requisitions. In preparation for this enhancement to Workday, all options to select recruiting instructions in relation to job requisitions were removed April 14, 2022. Procurement Office Hours June 2022
University Procurement/AP Office hours will be conducted approximately every two weeks. Use the MS Team link to join.

Workday Unavailable Due to Planned Quarterly Maintenance May 21
Workday will be unavailable due to planned quarterly maintenance on Saturday, May 21, from 2 a.m. to 2 p.m.
External dormakaba time clocks will be available, but employees using Workday to clock in and out should enter their hours once Workday is available again.

Beginning May 24, your Workday homepage will have a new look designed to give you a more personalized Workday experience and improved search capability. The changes will be obvious and intuitive. Finance June Office Hours
June Finance Office Hours will be held from 1 - 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7. Use the MS Teams link to join.
Enhancements Made to the Denial Option Within Select Finance and Supply Chain Business Processes
Enhancements were recently made to select finance and supply chain business processes. If a transaction is denied, any previous approvers and the initiator will receive a notification of the denial in Workday. Previous approvers will receive a notification for the business processes listed.

Non-Student Accounts in Collections Converting to Workday the Week of May 16
Beginning the week of May 16, non-student accounts in collections will be converted to Workday. This conversion out of Campus Solutions (SIS) may change where you view account balances.
Most balances held in the SIS ledger accounts of 12210 and 12050 will convert to the Workday ledger account 12000.
To review balances in Workday, use the General Ledger Balance report or the Find Journal Lines - OSU report. For balances remaining in SIS, continue to use the Student Financial Reports in Tableau.
Accounts in collections with combined student-related and non-student related debt will remain in SIS.

Requisitions App Now Has Simplified Navigation
For those using the Requisitions app to start a new purchase, the landing page looks more streamlined with a recent Workday update. As of May 6, all forms of a purchase requisition can be launched from a single block called Ordering Methods. For a detailed description of the changes, review the new job aid in the Administrative Resource Center (ARC).
Users of the Request Travel or Purchase app will continue to be directed to the form that collects Requisition Details before proceeding to make a purchase. The Requisitions app is available to all users. Use the ARC instructions to add the Requisitions app.
Planned Maintenance and Downtime for Student Applications May 21
