    The ODS (DWHCRPT) and Data Mart (DWDMOSU) have been retired as of this Sunday, June 1, at 5 p.m. Student data that was accessible in the ODS (DWHCRPT) and the Data Mart (DWDMOSU) has transitioned to the RAE (Reporting and Analytics Environment).     The ODS (DWHCRPT) and data mart (DWDMOSU) will be retired on June 1, 2025. Student data currently housed in the ODS (DWHCRPT) and the data mart (DWDMOSU) has transitioned to the RAE (Reporting and Analytics Environment). Since Autumn 2024, the primary communication tool for updates regarding this transition to the RAE is the ODS users mailing list that we’ve also been using to reach ODS users directly. There is also information posted through the Data Lake page.

  • "Learner" Institutional Definition Being Finalized

    Ohio State’s Data Governance team launched a new initiative in 2022 to standardize institutional definitions, partnering with colleagues across the university.

    Our latest definition for "Learner" is ready for community review. The group is open to hearing from all faculty and staff from the university and Wexner Medical Center during the review period. Those interested in reviewing these definitions are asked to fill out this Qualtrics survey by Wednesday, May 8.

  • Pronouns to Sync Across Carmen and Zoom

    Beginning this spring, students, staff and faculty may notice a change in their displayed pronouns in CarmenCanvas and CarmenZoom. These two tools will begin pulling pronoun information from my.osu.edu, the Ohio State app, Buckeye Link (for students), and Workday (for faculty and staff). Any pronouns that had been designated natively in Carmen and Zoom will remain if you have not selected pronouns in a major university system.
