  • University Websites Policy Revised

    The Office of Marketing and Communications has revised the University Websites Policy, which establishes governance for the creation and management of all university websites on osu.edu, ohio-state.edu and osumc.edu. The updated policy requires all units to designate a web lead and technical manager for sites; mandates a website registration process; updates content requirements; addresses the use of third-party tools, advertising and online payment acceptance; and establishes a Web Governance Council with oversight responsibilities, among other measures.     As part of its ongoing mission to grow and strengthen The Ohio State University’s privacy program, Privacy@Ohio State partners with students, faculty and staff on a variety of initiatives. Over the past semester, the team, part of Digital Security and Trust within the Office of Technology and Digital Innovation, has implemented a number of transparent practices and tools to support the university’s mission while balancing individual privacy.
