New prompts have been added to the "Find Journal Lines - OSU - Posted Journals by Amount type" report. The prompts "Budget Date On or After" and "Budget Date On or Before" have been added to help narrow the report output to a specified budget date range. This is useful for grants reporting to view financial activity based on "activity" dates. See the full post for more details.

"Budget Date On or After" and "Budget Date On or Before" prompts have been added to help narrow the report output to a specified budget date range. The "Financial Balances Summarization with Flexible Selectable Columns" report has been enhanced with a new field: Journal Sequence Number.  This improves journal traceability and reporting clarity for finance users in Tableau reporting. See the full post for more details.

A new dashboard has been developed to give users a quick, easy‑to‑understand view of key financials and a simple summary of operational transactions. This tool is designed specifically for budget managers who do not regularly use financial reports, with the goal of making financial information clearer, faster to review, and more intuitive. We are seeking up to 15 participants, particularly budget managers with limited financial reporting experience, to help test the dashboard and provide feedback. The "Sources and Uses – Annual Trending" report has been updated to include five years of data, expanded from the previous three. This enhancement provides users with greater visibility into longer‑term trends.

The newly released "Find Assets Details – OSU" report provides detailed asset information. It includes the same data as the "Find Assets Summary – OSU" report (formerly named "OSU – Find Assets") with an additional feature described in the full post.

The FY26 Autumn Forecast is now available in Workday and variance analysis reporting has been updated to reflect this forecast as the default prompt value for "Forecast Plan Name." See the full post for a list of affected reports.

A new column has been added to the output of the "Business Process Approval Times - Requisition Detail" and "Business Process Approval Times - Requisition Summary" reports. The new column is for the approval time of the HS Spend Category Commodity Manager approval role. This has been added due to the recent addition of this approval step to the requisition business process.

Coming Monday, January 5, the naming convention used for two report suites and their corresponding dashboards and report groups will be changed to allow for more visibility when searching for the reports using the Workday search bar.
