Jason Haskins

Sr. Director of Managed IT Services (MITS) and Relationship Management

Jason Haskins began his journey with OTDI in 2013, transitioning from the College of Engineering to take on the role of IT Relationship Manager. Over the years, he has grown into a leadership position overseeing two closely connected areas: Managed IT Services (MITS) and IT Relationship Management.

 In 2019, Jason expanded his responsibilities to lead the MITS portfolio. In this role, he manages the full lifecycle of IT services—from planning and assessment to onboarding and operations—while championing continuous improvement and transparency. He also plays a key role in shaping the customer experience by fostering strategic partnerships and advocating for MITS stakeholders.

 MITS delivers a broad range of IT services to units across Ohio State. The IT Relationship Management team supports these efforts by helping partners optimize their use of services, build trust, and ensure a high-quality customer experience. These two functions are deeply interconnected and work together to deliver value across the university.

 Jason’s Relationship Management team connects customers and OTDI service owners across the university, handles escalations, aligns IT services with both customer needs and OTDI goals, and plays a key role to manage the financial aspects of service delivery.

 Before joining OTDI, Jason built a diverse background in business development, sales, marketing, fundraising, and operations across several industries—including LAN/WAN and telecom utility construction, data center infrastructure, and the golf and agricultural sectors.

 Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in Agronomy from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Franklin University.
