  • Update: CarmenCanvas Restored

    As of Monday, October 20, at 7:10 p.m., access to CarmenCanvas has been restored. The system was unavailable due to the global Amazon Web Services (AWS) outage.
  • Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat Comes to All Office Apps 

    Microsoft is making yourwork in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote smarter and easier with a major update: Copilot Chat is now built directly into Microsoft 365 apps that Ohio State provides to all instructors, staff and students. You do not need to purchase an additional license to use these new features. 
  • Watch for New Email Warning Banners Starting Oct. 20 

    We’re making important updates to our email security system to better protect you and the university from phishing and spoofed messages. 

    Starting on Monday, Oct. 20, instructors, staff and students may notice a banner on incoming emails that fail our security check. These messages won’t be blocked yet, but they will be once the new security policy takes effect on Jan. 30.
