Instead of digging through multiple websites or guessing the right keywords, users can now ask questions in plain language and get clear, relevant responses drawn directly from official OTDI content.
  • Join Us for a Presentation about Wellness in Learning Environments

    Join Michael Schur, Senior Associate and Global Wellness Leader at Gensler, for an engaging session on how holistic wellness strategies can enhance learning environments at Ohio State. This event, Holistic Frameworks at the Intersection of Learning and Belonging, will take place on Monday, February 23, 2026, from 12–1 p.m. at the Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship. Hear from other universities and contribute to the conversation about designing spaces that support students, faculty, and staff.
  • Updated Microsoft 365 Login Verification for Students Launches in February

    Due to Microsoft feature changes, Ohio State is updating the login experience for students logging in to Microsoft 365. These changes will help support future-ready authentication technology. Changes will be rolled out to students in waves beginning on Feb. 16 through Mar. 2. We will notify you by email at least one week before changes are made to your account.
  • Fresh Features, Smarter Tools: Microsoft 365 Updates

    Over the coming months, Microsoft 365 will continue rolling out updates designed to simplify how people work, collaborate, and plan. These enhancements focus on modernizing tools like Teams and Planner, retiring legacy technologies, strengthening security, and improving access to AI-powered capabilities. Together, these changes support a more streamlined, connected, and future-ready Microsoft 365 experience—while helping users stay productive with tools that are easier to use and better integrated across the platform. 
  • CarmenCanvas AI Assistant under development

    Project Firefly, a Carmen AI assistant, is an instructor-controlled AI tool that integrates directly into CarmenCanvas. It provides students with immediate, course-specific support while giving instructors flexible ways to enhance learning and streamline common interactions.
  • A Quick Update Will Help Keep Your Duo Push Notifications Working

    To avoid login interruptions, OTDI recommends that everyone updates the Duo Mobile app on their phone or tablet to the newest version by Feb. 2, 2026. Older versions of Duo Mobile may stop receiving push notifications, which could prevent access to BuckeyePass protected services like BuckeyeMail, CarmenCanvas, and Workday.
  • OTDI Expands Access to AI Learning Through Coursera

    The Office of Technology and Digital Innovation (OTDI) is advancing AI Fluency across Ohio State by offering curated Google Coursera AI learning opportunities for faculty and instructors. Through OTDI’s partnership with Coursera, the Ohio State’s teaching community can explore AI Fluency Google Learning Paths that guide learners from foundational concepts to more advanced AI applications.
