Adobe Software
Adobe offers software to complete many different creative and business tasks. All students, faculty and staff at Ohio State are able to use Adobe Express, an all-in-one web app for photos, videos, documents and graphic design. Use the red button to explore Express now. Adobe Acrobat Pro is also available for faculty and staff use.
Adobe Acrobat Pro: Faculty and staff can log in online or download the app from Self Service on university-managed devices.

Access changes on Aug. 1
Adobe software access is updating on Aug. 1. To keep access to Creative Cloud after this date, see the instructions for departmental or personal purchase. Even without a Creative Cloud license, you will still have access to Adobe Express and, for faculty and staff, Acrobat Pro. All of your Creative Cloud files will stay in your university Adobe account. You may download them or visit a computer lab location with Creative Cloud software to continue working on them.

Starting August 1, 2024, students will be able to purchase Creative Cloud for the university's discounted rate of $36/academic year (this price includes payment processing fees). Students, along with faculty and staff, can make personally-funded license purchases on the purchase request form when it is available starting August 1.
Faculty and Staff
For university employees, the availability of Creative Cloud for work use will vary by department. Ohio State has a licensing agreement with Adobe so units can license FTEs at a rate of $35 per fiscal year. Licenses are purchased each year through a Worklday requisition. The Administrative Resource Center has further instructions to assist departments with purchasing licenses.
Please note that Adobe Acrobat Pro, the most used Adobe software at Ohio State, can be used by all faculty and staff without the need for a Creative Cloud license.
