Software Management Improvement

This project will evaluate opportunities for enhancing the value of software applications, improve the process for acquiring, and enhance management of these resources – make recommendations for improvement.

Why is it important? 

Working Group Charge:  

  1. Identify cross-over cost saving opportunities between the campus and Medical Center 
  2. Simplify the process – streamline the process for software purchase 
  3. Improve user experience by maintaining a software list of software that has already been purchased or reviewed/not purchased 
  4. Identify standard language to simplify contract negotiations for low-risk purchases.
