  • Finance August Office Hours

    August Finance Office Hours will be held from 1 - 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16. Use the MS Teams link to join.

  • Missing Data in June and July 2022 Datasets, RAE Data Load Issue

    During the week of September 5, the Data and Analytics team made significant progress in loading and validating the Journal Line reload to the Reporting and Analytics Environment (RAE). The final validations were successful with some explainable variances due to test environments. With the upcoming Workday 2022R2 update this Saturday, 9/10, we need some additional time to work around this critical event. 

  • Cost Center - FDM Values Report Includes Cost Center Manager Role

    The "Cost Center - FDM Values" report has been updated to include the Cost Center Manager(s) assigned to each specific cost center, if applicable. This report enhancement can help identify missing cost center manager security assignments. 

  • Revised: Personal Expense Checkbox on Expense Report and Repayment Process

    After identifying significant accounting issues with negative expense report balances since this original update was shared, a custom validation was added to prevent an expense report from being submitted with the Personal Expense checkbox selected.

  • Enhancements Coming Soon: Expense Report Exceptions Report

    Enhancements for the Expense Report Exceptions report will be available in Production no later than August 1, 2022. The report has been enhanced to provide additional functionality and usability. The enhancements are listed below.

  • Finance and Supply Chain Drop-In Office Hours

    Two drop-in office hour sessions will be available in July. The sessions will be focused on year-end needs and allow units to stop in if there are questions related to finance or supply chain as we approach year-end close. No formal agenda or material will be presented.

  • Encumbrance Training

    A new "Commitments and Obligations" virtual training has been created in BuckeyeLearn to help financial users and service centers develop a baseline skillset on encumbrances and pre-encumbrances.

  • Finance June Office Hours

    June Finance Office Hours will be held from 1 - 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7. Use the MS Teams link to join.

  • Enhancements Made to the Denial Option Within Select Finance and Supply Chain Business Processes

    Enhancements were recently made to select finance and supply chain business processes. If a transaction is denied, any previous approvers and the initiator will receive a notification of the denial in Workday. Previous approvers will receive a notification for the business processes listed.

  • Enhancement to Approval Steps Within Select Finance and Supply Chain Business Processes

    For select Finance and Supply Chain business processes, if a user has more than one security role for approval at different steps in a process, one approval now applies to all approval steps. For example, a cost center manager who also holds the role of grant manager will only approve once. For future approvals, the previous approval will apply. The business processes listed in bullet points are impacted by this approve once change, which has been added to Workday production as of Friday, April 29.
