Privacy Principles connect university values with privacy regulations to make it easier for the university community to understand and implement Ohio State's privacy practices.

• Student Analytics Principles - to provide guidelines on how to properly collect, analyze and report information about students for the purpose of understanding and optimizing student success and experiences and the contexts in which they occur.
• Youth Privacy Principles - to provide guidelines to youth programs on protecting the privacy of youth who are entrusted to the university’s care.
