Cybersecurity for You (C4U) Awareness Training

Technology plays an important role in many aspects of our lives and knowing how to live a safer “digital life” is essential to your role at the university and in your personal life.

The Cybersecurity for You (C4U) security awareness training offers actionable techniques to help you live a safer digital life. It is designed to deliver cybersecurity awareness on topics that help you stay secure beyond your role here on campus.

How to Enroll in Security Awareness Training

We have transitioned C4U platform curriculum to a course available through BuckeyeLearn. It can be accessed using these steps:

  1. View the Curriculum page from your browser: https://go.osu.edu/secaware.
  2. Click ‘Register,”
  3. Enjoy the training courses together, or individual, as conveniently as your time permits.
  4. When all courses are complete, return to your transcript, the course should show as “complete.”

Let us know if there are any topics of interest you would like to see in future offerings. Thanks for your interest in cybersecurity, and for helping us create a safer environment.

For the university’s Institutional Risk Management Program (IRMP), user-related risk is important. We must ensure all users of university systems and everyone who accesses data is equipped with the skills that will protect those valuable assets.

To comply with the IRMP (IT16) requirement, be sure to reach Level 1 in the platform. Your achievement will be logged in BuckeyeLearn reporting to ensure your compliance is recorded.
