Ohio State instructors and staff are invited to participate in Fix Your Content Day 2026 on November 10, a global accessibility challenge that encourages institutions around the world to improve the accessibility of digital course materials using Ally in CarmenCanvas.

This 24-hour event brings together educators, instructional designers, and accessibility advocates to make meaningful improvements to course content and contribute to Ohio State's standing on the event's live global leaderboard. Whether you make one improvement or fifty, every update helps create a more inclusive learning experience for students.

Last year's Fix Your Content Day demonstrated the collective impact institutions can have when accessibility becomes a shared responsibility. In 2025, the Ally community made more than 150,000 accessibility improvements in a single day.

At Ohio State, the event also provides a practical way to make progress toward creating more accessible learning experiences ahead of the April 2027 ADA Title II compliance date, while learning skills and practices that benefit all students.

The event is an opportunity to:

  • Learn more about inclusive content design
  • Improve the accessibility of digital learning materials
  • Support student success through more equitable access to learning materials
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the university
  • Advance Ohio State's ongoing digital accessibility efforts

Join colleagues at Ohio State and around the world for Fix Your Content Day 2026 and help turn accessibility insights into action.

More information coming soon on the Digital Accessibility Services website. You can also visit the Ally Instructional Guides to learn more about using Ally in Carmen.
