On Friday, October 9, several Payroll Accounting reports will receive prompt updates. These enhancements are designed to streamline worktag and cost center hierarchy filtering, improve reporting consistency, and support future adoption within report groups.
Changes to reports in the Payroll Funding suite will affect saved filters and scheduled reports. Users who have saved filters or scheduled reports containing values in the affected prompts will need to re-save their filters and reschedule their reports after the updates are deployed.
The changes listed below are being implemented.
Payroll Funding, One-Time Payments:
- The Current Org Assignment Cost Center Hierarchy prompt will be updated to return results based on either the employee's organizational assignment cost center hierarchy or the one-time payment worktag cost center hierarchy.
- The Organization Assignment Values and One-Time Payment Worktags prompts will be consolidated into a single prompt.
- The new prompt will return one-time payments where the specified worktag(s) are assigned either through the organizational assignment or the one-time payment worktags.
- The prompt logic will also be updated to return only transactions that contain all entered worktags, rather than any entered worktag.
Payroll Funding - Period Activity Pay & Payroll Funding - Period Activity Pay - Expired Funding:
- The Org Cost Center Hierarchy and Period Activity Cost Center Hierarchy prompts will be combined into a single prompt.
- Entering a cost center hierarchy will return period activity pay where the hierarchy is associated with either the organizational assignment or the period activity pay worktags.
- The Org Assignment Worktags and Period Activity Costing Worktags prompts will also be merged into a single prompt.
- The underlying logic will be updated to return only period activity pay that contain all entered worktags, rather than any entered worktag.
- This update will also resolve an existing issue affecting the return of period activity pay with split distributions when using the Worktags prompt.
Payroll Funding - Earning Costing (Worker + Position + Earning)
- The Costing Allocation Worktags prompt will be updated to correctly return costing allocations with split distributions.
- The prompt logic will also be modified to return only costing allocations that contain all entered worktags, rather than any entered worktag.
Payroll Accounting Adjustments Status
- The Worktags prompt will receive a backend update to return adjustments that contain all entered worktags, rather than any entered worktag.
- Questionnaire data in the report output will be reformatted to display one column per questionnaire answer, rather than one row per questionnaire answer.
Payroll Funding - Costing Allocations for Filled Positions
- A new prompt, All Costing Allocation Worktags (Central Use Only), will be added to support use within report groups.
Supervisory Organization Costing
- A new prompt, Worktags (Central Use Only), will be added to support use within report groups.
