Make Choices to Protect Your Privacy
One of the Ohio State Privacy Principles is to provide and honor choices when collecting personal information for a marketing purpose. Here’s how you can make choices to protect your privacy.
Authorize Sharing of Education Records
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) sets forth requirements designed to protect the privacy of student education records. In most circumstances, we will require express permission from the involved student to disclose information outside the university. Students may use the FERPA form Authorization to Disclose Information to authorize the disclosure of their records to a third party.
