External Training

Learners can add external training to their transcripts to maintain a record of training completed outside of BuckeyeLearn. All external training must be approved by the learner’s manager before moving to their completed transcript.

Add External Training

  1. Open your transcript.
  2. Click the Options icon

  3. Click Add External Training from the dropdown menu.

  4. Complete the Add External Training page.

  5. Add Attachment(s), if needed.

  6. Click the Submit button

  7. Click the Mark Complete button

Helpful Note:

The training status will change to Pending Completion Approval and your manager will receive an automated email.

If your manager approves the external training, it will be moved to your completed transcript. If your manager denies the external training, it will remain on your active transcript.

 

Edit and Resubmit External Training

  1. Click the training title on your transcript. 
  2. Click the Edit External Training link.

  3. Click the Request Completion Approval button

Remove External Training From Your Transcript

If your manager denies the external training, it will remain on your active transcript. You can remove the training from your transcript.
