The Office of Technology and Digital Innovation (OTDI) supports faculty, students and staff across all Ohio State campuses.

Application Services and Business Solutions
Application Services and Business Solutions manages application platforms and develops custom solutions for the university.
This group’s focus includes easing the administrative burden for students, faculty, staff, and affiliates by providing intuitive and connected application services and business solutions.

Data and Integration Services
Data and Integration Services provides integration and data platforms for the university with a primary focus on creating platforms for developers and data analysts.

Digital Security and Trust
The Digital Security and Trust department works to ensure the Ohio State community maintains safe practices when using technology to both protect their information and secure the data entrusted to Ohio State. This team provides the high level of privacy and data security protections, services and training expected by our students and partners and required by external regulators.
Digital Security and Trust oversees all areas of cybersecurity across the university and its colleges and units. The team works with its partners through the Information Security and Trust Advisory Board, which ensures effective oversight of the university's information and technology risk management and compliance practices, as well as through a network of security coordinators housed in each college or unit. Digital Security and Trust also offers security awareness and training to the Ohio State community at large through the Cybersecurity for You (C4U) platform and events like Cybersecurity Days.

Fiscal Management and Customer Experience
The Fiscal Management and Customer Experience department within OTDI includes the teams that manage our internal resources and external partnerships, providing our customers with a great experience.

Research Technology and Infrastructure Services
The Research Technology and Infrastructure Services department provides core technology services to the university including research solutions and physical IT infrastructure for the university and manages the relationship with OH-TECH. This team supports a wide range of services that impact the learning and working environment of faculty, staff, and students every day, including Wi-Fi, Microsoft 365, endpoint management, Managed IT Services, servers, storage, classroom and meeting room technology and more.

OTDI also partners with the Ohio State Online (OSO) team in the Office of Academic Affairs (OAA), who provides expertise in learning technology, digital skills, online and hybrid education and student services for post-traditional learners.
