New! ADA Title II Regulation Update

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has announced a one-year extension of the compliance deadline for the ADA Title II digital accessibility rule. For large public entities such as Ohio State, the enforcement date has been moved from April 24, 2026, to April 26, 2027.
While this extension offers institutional flexibility, it does not constitute a pause in the work; rather, it serves as a valuable opportunity to further integrate accessibility into everyday practices and to continue building a welcoming university.
