Enable a Second Camera Stream for Teams

Microsoft has enabled the ability for a host to have two camera streams running at once. This is useful if you are giving a presentation that needs your video and you need to also show something else just as the collaborative white board or the content of the document camera. By enabling a second video stream with Teams Content Camera and showing your personal video, you can share important content while still staying engaged with the call attendees. You must have two cameras connected to your device for this to work.

To enable a second stream:

  1. Turn on your personal video.
  2. Select Share content > Content from camera > Video.
  3. In the Content from camera dialog box, ensure that the selected Content Camera is different than the one currently used for your Personal Video, and then select and set the options you want.
  4. When you’re ready, click the Share button to begin sharing your Content Camera with your meeting attendees.

Share whiteboards and documents using your camera in Teams
