Project Update

Half of the Extension offices now have networking in place and more units on the Wooster and State-Wide campuses have moved to OCIO services. Some other highlights this month include:

  • A BuckeyeBar is now open in the ATI Library on the Wooster campus. The current hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Faculty, staff, and students can visit this location for in-person IT support.
  • The IT transformation is complete in Selby Hall. Plant Pathology and MCIC groups have moved to OCIO services. Network configuration is complete for all users including the USDA ARS colocation. Skype for Business has been deployed to all users and labs in Selby Hall.
  • Back-to-school is a busy time for everyone, including the IT Service Desk. In August, the IT Service Desk teams on the Columbus, Wooster, and State-Wide campuses closed 639 incident tickets and 1,906 request items for CFAES users.
