CFAES IT Team Progress
The CFAES IT team is working on a variety of projects including research, web and application support. Below are some highlights from January.
CFAES IT Team Progress
ATI – Assisted in implementing an online system to manage intramural sports activities.
ENT - Worked on research inventory.
Extension – Repaired accounting spreadsheet for Medina County. Supported users migrating to supported email list systems in Franklin County.
FABE – Assisted user migrating from an unsupported cloud platform to BuckeyeBox.
FST - Worked on replacing HPP machine in lab.
HCS – Evaluating greenhouse management software.
PLP – Refreshed the Conviron computer and assisted in updating the Conviron chambers’ firmware. Research inventory.
Wooster Campus – Assessing security of systems to manage pesticide/fertilizer usage reporting. Hosted CIO visit and presented about the statewide weather system.
Various - Partnering with OCIO on migrating digital signage to Xibo. Updated operating system on weather stations. Helping academic users migrate to Mediasite from TechSmith Relay and other platforms. Numerous risk assessments underway. Supported student employees gaining access to Adobe CC.
