Administrator Tasks
Critical Note:
BuckeyeLearn Support, administrators, and managers cannot mark LinkedIn Learning courses complete on the user’s BuckeyeLearn transcript.
Administrators can remove LinkedIn Learning courses from a learner’s BuckeyeLearn transcript. Only learners can remove LinkedIn Learning courses from the My Library section in LinkedIn Learning.
Administrators can use LinkedIn Learning courses when creating curricula in BuckeyeLearn.
Troubleshooting
Only LinkedIn Learning courses related to professional development will be recorded to a learner’s BuckeyeLearn transcript. LinkedIn Learning courses are searchable by users in BuckeyeLearn.
Critical Note:
LinkedIn Learning trainings that are a video, audio, or event will not be recorded to a learner’s BuckeyeLearn transcript.
All sections within a LinkedIn Learning course must be complete for the course to move to the completed section of a learner’s BuckeyeLearn transcript. Since LinkedIn Learning courses are completed in the LinkedIn Learning platform, BuckeyeLearn administrators are not able to view a learner’s progress within a LinkedIn Learning course.
Learners can confirm that a section has been completed by reviewing the menu column to the left of the LinkedIn Learning course. Completed sections have a green checkmark.
If a user launches a LinkedIn Learning course in LinkedIn Learning (and not BuckeyeLearn), the course will only appear on the completed BuckeyeLearn transcript once it is completed. LinkedIn Learning courses are only listed as In Progress on the BuckeyeLearn transcript if the learner first launches them from BuckeyeLearn.
LinkedIn Learning courses that a learner completed before August 2023 will not appear on their completed transcript.
