A bid was done for gift cards and incentives, resulting in contracts being awarded to two suppliers – Virtual Incentives and Tango. These contracts are available for university-wide use for digital and physical gift cards. Contract information can be found on the appropriate contract book pages.

A new university-wide contract for Entertainment Services was recently awarded to nine suppliers. The Sourcing Team pre-negotiated rates, discounts, and terms with suppliers for use by Ohio State as part of a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP).

Ohio State customers will receive quotes via email, which should be used to enter the order through the Buckeye Buy catalog.

Magnetic Springs is back in buckeye Buy with a two-line catalog for either 5-gallon water service or filtration unit service. The pricing for each is visible in the long description of the item.  Requestors should enter the expected total for annual service in the quantity field without decimal points. This will produce a one-line purchase order for the total amount of service through the year. The dollar line structure allows for multiple invoices to be paid during the service period.

B&H Photo will be closed for Passover beginning at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 19 through Tuesday, April 30.

However, you can still generate quotes, place orders, and submit purchase orders through the supplier website in Buckeye Buy on specific days during the closure. Note that product will not be shipped until B&H reopens on Wednesday, May 1. Purchase orders issued during the closures will still be accepted but product will not ship until B&H reopens.

Buckeye Buy internal supplier catalogs now have a Preferred tag assigned to them in Workday. To limit your search to internal supplier catalogs, enter an item description and check the Preferred box in the Item Tags section in the left pane.  

The screenshot below provides a visual example. When searching for “room night,” with Preferred checked, the results will bring back internal supplier, The Blackwell.
