How to View and Complete To-Do List Items

About the To-Do List

The To-Do List in your My Buckeye Link displays outstanding requirements that need your attention. These items may include document requests, forms to complete, and other actions needed to support enrollment, financial aid processing, and compliance. Completing requested items as soon as possible can help prevent delays in processing.

Helpful Note

If you have been offered a student loan but choose not to accept it, the To-Do List item for completing a loan master promissory note (MPN) will remain on the list indefinitely. No additional action is required, unless you wish to accept the loan in the future.

Important Information

  • Unlike holds, To-Do List items do not prevent you from receiving services like registering for classes or receiving a diploma. Incomplete To-Do List items can, however, result in incorrect fees assessment, financial aid processing delays, and other negative consequences. Monitor your To-Do List regularly.
  • Financial Aid uses two To-Do Lists. The To-Do List on your My Buckeye Link homepage provides a summary of outstanding financial aid requirements. For detailed information, including requirement descriptions and instructions, navigate to Finances > View Financial Aid > Select Aid Year > To Do List.

Common To-Do List Items

  • Compliance Training Requirements – anti-hazing, community wellness education, campus safety and other compliance trainings may be assigned one time or annually, depending on the requirement.
  • Financial Aid To-Dos – document requests to verify your eligibility for financial aid, student loan paperwork (if you have applied for a loan) and more may be included on your To-Do List. Failure to act on these items may delay or prevent disbursement of your financial aid.

  • Finance To-Dos – completion of the Financial Responsibility Statement prior to enrollment in classes, permission to apply your federal financial aid to charges, recommendation to enroll in direct deposit for financial aid refunds, optional enrollment in tuition insurance and more are frequently added to the To-Do List.
  • Health Requirements – Student Health Insurance may require documentation of your vaccination records and other health information upon enrollment.
