How to Update Your Addresses

The Student Information System maintains several different Address Types, which are used by different purposes. My Buckeye Link enables you to maintain your own Permanent and Current address types.

You can update your Permanent or Current/Home Address by editing an address or by adding a new address.

My Buckeye Link - Personal Information section - Permanent Address or Current/Home Address

 Edit an Address

  1. Select Permanent Address, Current/Home Address from the Personal Information section of My Buckeye Link. The Addresses page will appear.

  1. Select 

    Edit button

     beside the address you wish to update. The Edit Address page will appear.

  1. Edit the existing Address information.
  2. Select 

    OK button

     The Change Address page will appear.

  1. Confirm or look up and select the Date new address will take effect.

Critical Note

Students enrolled in distance learning programs, field or clinical classes or scheduled in all distance education classes should check the ‘Stu Loc’ Address Type option when adding or changing an address. The 'Stu Loc' option, also known as the Student Physical Location, represents the physical location where a student is living while taking distance learning programs, field or clinical classes.

  1. Check the appropriate Address Type and select 

    My Buckeye Link Save button

     A confirmation message will appear.

  2. Select 

    OK button
  3. To return to the My Buckeye Link page, select "My Buckeye Link" from the 

    My Buckeye Link Go To Drop-Down menu

Add an Address

  1. Select Permanent Address or Current Address from the Personal Information section of My Buckeye Link. The Addresses page will appear.

  1. Select 

    Add A New Address

     . The Edit Address page will appear.

  1. Enter new Address information.
  2. Select 

    OK button

    . The Add a New Address page will appear.

  1. Confirm or look up and select the Date new address will take effect.

     

  2. Check the appropriate Address Type and select

     

    My Buckeye Link Save button

     . A confirmation message will appear.
