Jeff Allen

For 25 years, Jeff Allen has cultivated leadership experience in the spaces of human resources, customer service, IT, and fiscal oversight and planning. Jeff has gained a majority of this experience while working in higher education, most notably at Ohio State and Syracuse University.
Jeff’s most immediate Ohio State role has been serving as the Student Business Advocate and Workstream Director during the initial Workday implementation. Jeff’s related responsibilities have included the successful facilitation of governance processes (decision-making and risk management) and planning for the future rollout of Workday Student functionality.
As the Associate Vice President of EBS, Jeff will be responsible for leading Ohio State’s Workday release 1 go-live stabilization period while helping to plan the EBS Team transition to ongoing operations and overseeing the Student project ramp-up. In this capacity, Jeff also serves as the executive liaison to the Student line of business and helps align the strategic vision of the organization and supporting applications.
Previously at Ohio State, Jeff served as the Senior Administrative Officer to the Vice President of Enrollment Services (ES) and the Vice Provost/Dean of Undergraduate Education (UE).
While working for ES/UE, the precursor to the Office of Student Academic Success, Jeff provided advisement on facilities, fiscal, HR, IT, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) strategic priorities. He led the functional ERP Services Team by providing system and business analysis across Enrollment Services and helped identify ways technology may be leveraged for process improvement. Jeff also actively helped guide the ERP governance process by serving on the Executive Steering Committee, Sponsor Group and chairing the Student Business Sponsors Advisory Group.
During his time with Syracuse University, Jeff was the Senior Associate Vice President of Operations, Enrollment, and the Student Experience with the responsibilities of planning and leading strategic initiatives and managing the organization’s ongoing operations.
Jeff led Syracuse University’s organizational change efforts that were designed to achieve university-established strategic and operational goals. In addition, Jeff oversaw division operations and set the overall strategy and implementation of financial, human, and technology resources.
Jeff holds a master’s degree in Organizational Communication from the University of Dayton.
