The Ohio State University has been recognized as a 2026 AWS Champion, an honor that highlights the university's continued commitment to innovation, collaboration and the strategic use of technology to support teaching, learning, research and operations.
The recognition by Amazon Web Service (AWS) celebrates organizations that are making a meaningful impact through technology and sharing their experiences with peers across higher education. Ohio State will be formally recognized during a national higher education technology conference in September. The award reflects the work of teams across the university who have spent the past several years advancing modern technology practices, expanding the use of artificial intelligence and developing solutions that improve experiences for students, faculty and staff.
Adding to the recognition, an OTDI team led by Jeremy Boeckman was selected from more than 150 submissions to present at the conference. Their session will showcase Ohio State's work integrating artificial intelligence into application development and the productivity gains achieved across the application portfolio.
As part of the recognition, Ohio State's work in OTDI will be featured in a case study highlighting its technology innovation efforts and the outcomes achieved through cross-campus collaboration. The recognition and conference presentation provide an opportunity to share Ohio State's work with higher education peers while learning from institutions across the country that are exploring emerging technologies, artificial intelligence and modern data strategies.
