Autodesk login is moving to Ohio State single sign-on

Beginning June 16, Ohio State is updating how you sign in to Autodesk applications to adjust to licensing changes being made by the vendor. You will use your Ohio State username and password instead of a separate Autodesk login. Moving to SSO improves security and provides a more consistent login experience across university services.

This change applies to students, faculty, and staff who use Autodesk tools. Moving to single sign-on (SSO) aligns with university authentication standards and gives you a simpler, more secure way to access the tools you use for coursework, teaching, research, and design work.

What you need to do

Before June 16, sign in to Autodesk using your Ohio State credentials and link your existing Autodesk account.

  • This ensures you keep access to your apps, files, and projects
  • If your Autodesk account uses a different email address, update it to your lastname.#@osu.edu address.
  • Students who use Autodesk should be sure to connect to their account before their primary email address is transitioned from BuckeyeMail to lastname.#@osu.edu. Students who do not link their account before this change may temporarily lose access to Autodesk and may need IT support to restore it.
  • When you return to campus in the fall, you will need to log into Autodesk again to request the licenses you’ll need for your classes and use Autodesk software on and off campus.
