Documents are voided when they
- Have been signed but must be corrected or changed
- Pass the document’s expiration date
Once a document is voided, it is legally void and cannot be used.
Notifications of the voided document will be sent to those who have already signed.
If the documents must still be signed, you must send your documents again, and anyone who previously signed will need to sign again.
- On the eSignature homepage, click the Manage link to open the Manage page.
- Locate the document that you want to void.
- Click the dropdown menu on the document and select Void.
- Type a reason for voiding the document. This reason is included in the email notification sent to recipients.
- Click Void to void the document.
