The eActivity reports provide aggregate data related to Proposals, Awards, and Expenditures.

Steps to Run Reports

  1. Log in to Tableau Server.

If you are unable to run the report, or this link is not working, request access by submitting an Enterprise Data for Analytics Access Request using IT Self Service.

  1. Navigate to the eActivity reports and select the report to run.
Path: Explore – Enterprise – Finance and Supply Chain – Grants Management – eActivity – eActivity [Workday] – Workday eActivity <Awards/Expenditures> - <Report – Summary or Detail>
 

Helpful Note:

To apply a previously saved view, click the View: button in the report header to open the Custom View dialog box and select a saved view.

  1. Click 

    filter icon

    to open the filters and details pane.

  2. Select and apply report filters.
    • Hover over a filter and select 

      show all values icon

      , Show all values, to quickly change the value from None to All.

    • If you choose to select specific filter values, be sure to click Apply.
    • Results are updated dynamically as you select and apply filters. When data matches the filters you have applied, results will be displayed.
    • Click 

      close icon

      to close the filters and details pane.

  1. Review report results.
    • If you review the report online, note that there are both vertical and horizontal scroll bars.
    • Click a cell in the results to see available focus and drill down options.
    • You can also download results to Excel for additional analysis or to print the report. 
      • Click 

        download icon
      • Select Crosstab as the file format.
      • Select Excel or CSV (both formats open in Excel).
        CSV format is the most useful option if you intend to do any sorting, filtering, or analysis of the data.
      • Click Download.

Important Information

If you need access to the eActivity reports, submit an Enterprise Data for Analytics Access Request using IT Self Service.

When completing the form, request access to the “Finance and Supply Chain – Grants Management: Reporting” data domain.
