- Make navigation clear, consistent, and easy
- When knowledge checks and quizzes must be clear and tied to course content; descriptive feedback is provided
- Eliminate bias and promote inclusivity
- Use high-quality images and multimedia
- Courses must adhere to minimum accessibility standards; it must meet requirements of Digital Accessibility Policy
- Clearly indicate when a course has been completed
